Even gang members are violent towards females, their girlfriends and their wives and this is why we included the reduction of female violence in our advocacy work. They do not speak out because of the fear of more violence and economic reliance. Around the world, every day females are the victims of sexual harassment, sexual assault, prostitution, human trafficking, getting underpaid or receiving unreasonable compensation, honour killings, murders and the inability to break through the corporate glass ceiling. How many qualified females runs top corporations? These unfair realities must change. And these are some of the reasons why we must take grassroots collective action daily.
